Delta Kappa Epsilon

The Alumni Association is led by a six-man board. The five Alumni Directors are elected to two-year terms.

The current slate was elected in November 2011 by mail-in ballot. The sixth Director is the President of the Active Chapter in Blacksburg, who is elected annually during the spring semester.

The Board meets monthly via telephone conference call to plan and carry out the business of the Alumni Association. We also meet in person when possible. Areas of discussion include:

• Active Chapter (governance, recruiting, leadership, scholarship and stability)
• Fraternity House (property, operations and renovations)
• Social Events (reunions, tailgates, gatherings)
• Communications (website, newsletters, e-mails, databases)
• Fundraising (and finances)

Get involved

We are always looking for more alumni brothers to get involved. The reality of our Alumni Association is that the majority of the effort to keep the fraternity operational is provided by very few individuals.

Broad involvement is the foundation to a successful fraternity alumni group. In turn, successful alumni operations directly correlate to successful and thriving active chapters.

We welcome any and all participation from our alumni, whether just contributing ideas on our monthly conference call, or getting involved with (or creating!) a board committee.
